La Clarée Valley
Situated on the border of Italy, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, the Clarée valley offers no less than 20,000 hectares of pristine wilderness! Crossed by a river, this valley is also home to two villages: Val-Des-Près and Névache. For a walk in the snow or to set off Nordic skiing, these two villages are located just a stone’s throw from the Chalets de La Clarée.

With its mountain lakes and magnificent peaks, the Clarée valley is ideal for exploring hiking trails off the beaten track, in complete freedom. You can also set out with a guide for an exceptional experience!
Villages to discover
The traditional village of Val-des-Près is made up of 5 hamlets (La Vachette, le Rosier, le Serre, le Pra Premier and la Draye) boasting architecture typical of the valley. Ranging from 1351 m to 2773 m altitude, Val-des-Près offers a wonderful combination of listed churches and chapels, as well as sundials and bread ovens!
